Private DAY TRIP TO STONEHENGE & WINDSOR CASTLE.

❋ Stonehenge Age 3100 BC

Located on England's Salisbury Plain, is one of the world's most famous prehistoric monuments. Built in phases starting around 3000 BC, it evolved from a simple earthwork enclosure into a sophisticated stone circle by the early Bronze Age.
Its construction remains a marvel of Neolithic engineering. The massive outer sarsen stones were hauled from roughly 15 miles away, while the smaller "bluestones" travelled over 150 miles from Wales. Precisely aligned with the solstices, the stones frame the summer sunrise and winter sunset, suggesting it served as a solar calendar or sacred ritual site. Today, it is a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site.

❋ Windsor Castle 1070

Located in Berkshire, is the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world. Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has served as a royal residence for over 950 years and home to 40 monarchs.
Spanning 13 acres, the estate features the iconic Round Tower and St George’s Chapel, the burial place of Queen Elizabeth II and Henry VIII. As a working palace, it hosts state visits and the annual Order of the Garter ceremony.
Despite a devastating fire in 1992, meticulous restoration preserved its magnificent State Apartments and vast Royal Collection.
Windsor Royal Station entrance decorated with festive lights and greenery, with people walking along cobblestone street at dusk, historic buildings on either side, and a blue sky overhead.

❋ LUNCH IN WINDSOR
